Astana, Feb 18 (EFE).- Kazakhstan is launching new visa categories aimed at skilled specialists, entrepreneurs, and remote workers, commonly known as “digital nomads”, Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vassilenko announced Tuesday at a press conference.
New Visa Categories for Remote Workers and Experts
Alongside the Neo Nomad Visa (B12-1), Kazakhstan has also introduced two additional visa options:
- Digital Nomad Visa (B9-1) – Specifically for IT and technology sector workers who relocate to Kazakhstan for residency purposes.

With these initiatives, Kazakhstan aims to facilitate the relocation and stay of foreign professionals, while also boosting tourism and attracting highly skilled talent.
