For Astana, it is<strong> a great honor<\/strong> to have this remarkable work by the <strong>legendary painter<\/strong>,\u201d Shaira Pakhim, a resident of Astana, told EFE.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is a <strong>historic<\/strong> event occurring for the first time in the history of <strong>Central Asia,<\/strong>\u201d she added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u2018La Bella Principessa\u2019 is one of the most <strong>mysterious<\/strong> and <strong>valuable<\/strong> works of the famous Italian artist: it is a portrait of a young <strong>aristocrat<\/strong> drawn in the late <strong>15th century,<\/strong> the only one drawn on parchment.<\/p>\n<p>The artwork, <strong>initially misattributed to a German painter<\/strong> from the early 19th century, was auctioned in 1998 by American collector Peter <strong>Silverman<\/strong>, who established the true authorship of the piece thanks to the discovery of a <strong>fingerprint<\/strong> on the drawing identical to Da Vinci\u2019s.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1428px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment-rss-efe-singlepost-thumb \" src=\"https:\/\/efecomunica.efe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/rss-efeee6e1d2f8d928c676ad1e949b74c5725ae86e272w-1120x747.jpg\" alt=\"ASTANA, 06\/06\/2024.- The famous portrait by Leonardo Da Vinci, La Bella Principessa, also known as \u2018Portrait of Bianca Sforza,\u2019 \u2018Young Girl in Profile in Renaissance Dress,\u2019 and \u2018Portrait of a Young Fianc\u00e9e,\u2019 was exhibited today at the National Museum of Astana, Kazakhstan, for the first time in the country\u2019s history.
