Astana, Jun 11 (EFE).- Atletico Madrid Chairman Enrique Cerezo<\/strong> Tuesday presented to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev<\/strong> the project for the creation of a soccer academy<\/strong> in the city of Talgar, in the southeast of this Central Asian republic.<\/p>\n

The Kazakh leader, who received the Atletico chief at Akorda, his official residence, thanked him for his willingness to share his experience and to support the development of soccer<\/strong> in the country, the president\u2019s press office said.<\/p>\n

According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan, where about 40,000 children<\/strong> are enrolled in soccer schools, pays special attention to promoting the sport, building new stadiums and improving existing infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n
