The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York<\/strong> (\u201cFHLBNY<\/strong>\u201d) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors<\/strong> has selected Jos\u00e9 Rafael Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, Steven M. Klein<\/strong> and William J. Turner, Jr.<\/strong> to serve as members of the Board. Each fills the remaining term of a Member Director seat left vacant by the retirements of previous Directors.<\/p>\n \u201cMr. Fern\u00e1ndez, Mr. Klein and Mr. Turner will make outstanding additions to our Board, and the expertise and insights they bring to their new roles will benefit our entire cooperative,\u201d said Larry E. His current term will run through December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n Mr. Klein is the chairman, president and CEO of Northfield Bank, and has been selected to serve as a Member Director representing New York members. His current term will run through December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n Mr. Turner is senior vice president of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company<\/strong>, and has been selected to serve as a Member Director representing New York members.
