{"id":132255,"date":"2024-10-11T17:03:41","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T15:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efecomunica.efe.com\/?p=132255"},"modified":"2024-10-11T17:20:35","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T15:20:35","slug":"ireland-to-host-the-28th-tci-global-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efecomunica.efe.com\/en\/ireland-to-host-the-28th-tci-global-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Ireland to host the 28th TCI Global Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chihuahua, Mexico, Oct. 11 (EFE).- With the conclusion of the <strong>27th <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tci-network.org\/\">TCI Network<\/a> Global Conference<\/strong>, held in <strong>Chihuahua<\/strong>, northern Mexico, <strong>Ireland<\/strong> has received the baton to host the global cluster meeting in 2025.<\/p>\n<h3>Ireland Prepares to Host the Global Cluster Conference<\/h3>\n<p>During the handover ceremony to <strong>Ireland<\/strong>, <strong>John Hobbs<\/strong>, of <strong>Munster Technological University, Ireland<\/strong>, expressed his excitement for the upcoming global cluster conference, referring to the groups of companies that share objectives and resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited to host the next conference in Ireland. <strong>Clusters have proven to be a key instrument<\/strong> in transforming our economies, and in 2025 we hope to further strengthen the <strong>alliances<\/strong> we have built here in Chihuahua,\u201d said Hobbs, who is also a member of <strong>TCI Network<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Chihuahua as a Model for Cluster Organization<\/h3>\n<p>Hobbs highlighted <strong>Chihuahua<\/strong> as a model for <strong>cluster organization<\/strong> to spur <strong>economic development<\/strong> across various industries and as a platform for <strong>sharing best practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we saw in Chihuahua is a clear example of how <strong>clusters can catalyze change<\/strong>. This conference has been an extraordinary platform for sharing good practices, and we look forward to continuing the dialogue in <strong>Ireland<\/strong>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3>Reflecting on the Success of the 27th TCI Network Global Conference<\/h3>\n<p>Departing <strong>TCI Network President Merete Daniel Nielsen<\/strong> also stressed the opportunities for development and the discussion of critical future topics. Such as <strong>global collaboration<\/strong>, <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong>, and the reshoring of supply chains, or <strong>nearshoring<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>She praised the northern Mexican state of <strong>Chihuahua<\/strong> for its organization and the <strong>synergies<\/strong> achieved between the private and public sectors in promoting <strong>clusters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know where to start or end because they\u2019ve truly been a strong example of what clusters can accomplish. Without the <strong>collaboration of institutions<\/strong> and <strong>cluster managers<\/strong>, the level and quality of what we\u2019ve seen here would not have been possible. <strong>Chihuahua is a best-practice case<\/strong> we can all be proud of,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<h3>Farewell from the TCI Network President<\/h3>\n<p>Nielsen reflected on her experience as <strong>TCI Network chief<\/strong>, noting that her departure highlights the potential these initiatives hold for <strong>economic and industrial development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is my final handover, as I\u2019ve been president of <strong>TCI Network<\/strong> for six years. I will carry this place in my heart because to me, it is a testament to the power of clusters and the transition they represent,\u201d she remarked.<\/p>\n<h3>Looking Forward to Ireland\u2019s TCI Global Conference<\/h3>\n<p>She also stressed the importance of <strong>partnerships<\/strong> for the future: \u201cFor the first time in <strong>TCI<\/strong>, we now have two countries collaborating on organizing the next conference.
