Guatemala City, Jun 12 (EFE).-<\/strong> The upcoming Volcano Innovation Summit<\/a> in Guatemala<\/strong> will bring together 130 speakers from 30 countries<\/strong> this September in an event expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees<\/strong>, organizers confirmed this week during the summit\u2019s official launch.<\/p>\n

The international firm Castillo Hermanos<\/strong> was announced as one of the event\u2019s sponsors.<\/p>\n

A global platform for Latin American innovation and entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Volcano Innovation Summit<\/strong> is a global initiative that serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences<\/strong>. It is driven by a mission to connect Latin America to the global network of innovation, science, and culture<\/strong> by bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and creatives<\/strong> for cross-sector dialogue and inspiration.<\/p>\n

Now in its sixth edition<\/strong>, the summit will be held from September 6 to 8<\/strong> in Antigua Guatemala<\/strong>, a colonial city located 50 kilometers west of the Central American country\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Volcano Innovation Summit gathers speakers from many regions\u2014innovators in their fields and in technology,\u201d said Juan Fernando Aldana<\/strong>, corporate investment manager at Castillo Hermanos<\/strong>, during the presentation. \u201cWe believe it\u2019s essential to foster that knowledge and to give more people access to these figures. It\u2019s key to encouraging greater entrepreneurship and innovation in Guatemala.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Castillo Hermanos and the future of collaborative entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to Castillo Hermanos<\/strong>, the summit has \u201cestablished itself as one of the most influential innovation platforms in Latin America.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Their participation, the company said, \u201creflects its future-oriented approach, focused on collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and supporting high-impact entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alongside keynote talks and forums, the summit will host Startup Avenue 2025<\/strong>, a competition offering more than $150,000 in funding<\/strong> to support aspiring entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

Confirmed speakers and sector diversity for Volcano 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Confirmed speakers include Mark Schwartz<\/strong>, U.S. director of strategy for Amazon Web Services<\/strong>; Tomer Lancewicki<\/strong>, director of artificial intelligence at Walmart Global<\/strong>, from Israel; and Brazilian executive Ricardo Pero<\/strong>, CEO of SellersFi<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n

The first Volcano Innovation Summit<\/strong> was held in 2019<\/strong>, followed by annual editions in 2022, 2023, and 2024. <\/strong>Each focused on innovation, investment, entrepreneurship, and sustainability<\/strong>, according to the organizers.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition<\/strong> will convene global leaders from fields including digital technology, corporate strategy, finance, telecommunications, cybersecurity, energy, mobility and sustainability. <\/strong>EFE<\/p>\n
