Astana, Oct. 3 (EFE).- The Madrid regional minister for digitalization<\/a>, Miguel L\u00f3pez-Valverde<\/strong>, signed a collaboration agreement with Kazakhstan<\/strong> for cooperation in digitalization on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal is to work together on experiences and collaborate between both parties to include artificial intelligence in a transparent and responsible manner<\/strong> in all administrative processes, training public employees and citizens,\u201d L\u00f3pez-Valverde told EFE.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed with the state-owned company National Information Technologies (NITEC), represented by the chairman of its board of directors, Daulet Bekmanov<\/strong>, during the Digital Bridge 2025 international forum in Astana.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the agreement, both parties will work to \u201cenable companies and the industrial sector to embrace technology<\/strong> to become much more productive,\u201d said L\u00f3pez-Valverde, adding that this will facilitate \u201ctechnology for the business and industrial community and the administration itself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKazakhstan wants to completely digitize its administration for citizens in three years. In Madrid, where we are at 80%, we aspire to the same,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe collaboration with Madrid, one of the most important regions in Spain, where more than 1,450 government procedures have already been automated, opens new horizons for joint innovation,\u201d said Bekmanov.<\/p>\n
