Last week, Stella visited the European market debut of the new Super Hybrid ATTO 2 DM-i and said \u201cEurope is a particularly important strategic market for us. We are very happy to have brought, in recent years, different models and technologies that have proved highly successful. Especially in Italy, where we launched our Dolphin Surf model in Milan.\u201d This is what BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li told LaPresse on the sidelines of the European market debut of the new Super Hybrid ATTO 2 DM-i.<\/p>\n

\u201cATTO 2 is another game-changing product,\u201d Li explains, \u201cbecause it is the only compact B-segment SUV that can travel 90 km in fully electric mode,\u201d reaching up to 1,000 km of combined driving range.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this vehicle\u2014called a Super Hybrid car due to its DM-i technology, which ensures \u201clower consumption levels\u201d\u2014\u201cwe will beat anyone,\u201d Li states, \u201call ICE (internal combustion engine) cars, all hybrids, and even mild hybrids: the best performance when it comes to fuel-saving efficiency.\u201d<\/p>\n

Li is particularly proud of the innovations that accompany the launch of ATTO 2, which will provide European consumers with \u201cthe best driving experience in terms of technology and performance.\u201d She also highlights the new AI assistant features:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be like talking to a friend. You\u2019ll be able to ask, \u2018Hi BYD, what\u2019s the weather like today?\u2019 or \u2018Where can I find a restaurant?\u2019 and the car will automatically answer as if it were a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are convinced it will be another success,\u201d Li reiterates, before outlining her expectations for the near future:<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone will need to recognize BYD as a technology company.
