Astana, Mar 12 (EFE).- The past two weeks have shown the world how dangerous, unstable, and turbulent life on Earth has become, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev<\/strong> said Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe escalation of tensions in the Middle East has undermined the foundations of global security<\/strong> and has had an extremely negative impact on the global economy,\u201d Tokayev told lawmakers from across the country gathered at a forum in Astana.<\/p>\n

He added that \u201ceven economically prosperous and seemingly stable states have suddenly become involved\u201d in the war, which erupted \u201cnot very far\u201d from Kazakhstan, the president emphasized.<\/p>\n

In Tokayev\u2019s view, the current situation is due, among other factors, to an acute crisis of trust<\/strong> among the leaders of countries involved in the conflict, as well as disregard for international law and \u201can unprecedented decline in the authority of the United Nations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tokayev also noted that the entire world is forced to live under conditions of instability and uncertainty<\/strong>, and that \u201ceach year of the current decade becomes more difficult than the previous one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis process is reflected on social media, where truth intertwines with lies, conspiracy theories with disinformation, pain and tragedy with celebrations and joy. This is the modern world, which has entered the era of artificial intelligence,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
