Also in attendance were the president of Spain\u2019s National Court, Juan Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez Mart\u00ednez, and the director general for North America, Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Pacific at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Luis Fonseca.<\/p>\n
The program included a concert of traditional Kazakh music by the ensemble Alqonyr, from the Turkestan region, as well as performances by young talents Zhanel Ali and Arman Zhanaly, Kazakh artists residing in Spain.<\/p>\n
Nauryz, which coincides with the spring equinox, represents for the Kazakh people the beginning of a new cycle and harmony with nature.<\/p>\n
