Top bartenders from 49 countries competed in Scotland for the coveted title<\/p>\n
Zana M\u00f6hlmann<\/strong> from Singapore has been crowned Diageo World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2026 at the world’s biggest cocktail competition, taking top place among finalists from six continents.<\/p>\n M\u00f6hlmann of East47 at Conrad Singapore Orchard combined technical mastery and creative flair with the warm, intuitive hospitality that defines a truly world class bartender.<\/p>\n Originally from the Netherlands, she found bartending on a gap year in Asia and trained in Amsterdam\u2019s bars. She then joined the opening team of Ryan Chetiyawardana\u2019s Super Lyan, rising to Head Bartender. She spent months refining every serve in preparation for the Global Finals, dedication that paid off last night in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n Alongside the title, Zana will represent Diageo and its brands in a year-long opportunity to showcase her bartending skills around the world and, for the first time, this year\u2019s Global Bartender of the Year will partner with Diageo to create a ready-to-drink cocktail that will launch in multiple markets next year. The title also includes an all-expenses trip to the 2027 World Class Global Final<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A 16-strong international judging panel of well-known leading figures from the global bar industry, including Ago Perrone of London’s Connaught Bar, Monica Berg of Tay\u0113r + Elementary, and Lorenzo Antinori of Hong Kong’s Bar Leone (recently named The World\u2019s Best Bar at The 50 Best Bars 2026, for the second consecutive year) judged competitors across a series of live brand challenges (challenges listed in notes to editors, below).<\/p>\n Speaking on behalf of the judging panel, Ago Perrone said:<\/p>\n \u201cMy fellow judges and I have been impressed by the dedication and the efforts that have gone into each creation this year.
