Astana, Apr 28 (EFE) .- Spanish company Tubacex is to build in Kazakhstan the first seamless pipe manufacturing plant in Central Asia, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said Monday.
The Central Asian republic’s head of diplomacy, Murat Nurtleu, met in Astana with Tubacex Director General Stefano Manfredi and discussed details of the factory dedicated to the manufacturing of seamless nickel alloy and stainless steel tubes.
Nurtleu stressed the readiness of the government of Kazakhstan to provide comprehensive support for the Tubacex investment project, which he said will significantly contribute to the strengthening of the country’s industrial sector and the creation of new jobs.
The project follows Kazakhstan’s industrial development plans. The country has become a regional economic leader and intends to develop technology transfer further.
Tubacex, which has 24 factories and 14 service centers worldwide, specializes in producing seamless pipes for the energy, petrochemical, and gas sectors.
The Spanish company has been operating since 2022 in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, where it has specialized in pipe fitting production. EFE
